Master of Arts (Theology) & Master of Arts (Ministry)

Our MA courses are designed to provide theology graduates with the opportunity to undertake coursework at the masters level.

Students will consolidate and enhance their areas of specialty. This degree is a pathway to Doctoral study.

 

Prerequisites

ACT graduates with a BTh or BMin (or equivalent)

48 credit points at the 700 level:

MA(Th)

  • Biblical Languages/Old Testament/New Testament/Theology/Church History/Philosophy & Ethics (30cps)
    • Including either a 8,000 minor project (6cps), a 16,000 word major project (12cps) or capstone experience
  • Electives from any unit field (18cps)

MA(Min)

  • Evangelism & Missiology/Pastoral Ministry/Developmental Ministry (30cps)
    • Including either a 8,000 minor project (6cps), a 16,000 word major project (12cps) or capstone experience
  • Electives from any unit field (18cps)
